I created a full 360 panoramic matte painting for the background of the Wakanda battle sequence in Avengers: Infinity War. It can be seen several times throughout this ILM VFX reel


2017 News


Ever since my parents took me to see Return of the Jedi at the cinema in 1983, I have been a massive fan of Star Wars and the effects work of ILM. Many years later, It's been a dream come true for me to have created some of the matte paintings for The Last Jedi at Industrial Light and Magic. You can see my matte painting of new planet Cantonica in this featurette on the Star Wars YouTube channel (time 1:31)

2016 News


I am delighted to have joined Industrial Light & Magic as a feature film visual effects artist on 'Rogue One - A Star Wars Story'. Find out more over at the Star Wars website



I spent the first half of the year at MPC working on concepts and matte paintings for the upcoming sci-fi film 'Passengers'. The visual effects made the shortlist for the Oscars, here's the Passengers trailer

I recently presented a lecture on 'Matte Painting for Feature Films' to the MA students at the National Film and Television School.


I've had a busy year so far at MPC, working on matte paintings for 'The Jungle Book' remake, 'Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 2', and 'Terminator Genisys'. The trailer for Terminator is here, the MJ2 trailer is here, and the Jungle Book trailer can be seen here



I created matte paintings for Ridley Scott's biblical epic 'Exodus - Gods and Kings' - check out the amazing visual effects that MPC artists created

I produced concepts, scene layouts and matte paintings for ITVs 'The Great Fire' - here's a closer look

February 2014 saw the premiere of 'Fleming - The Man Who Would Be Bond', which I provided several matte paintings for.
